Immerse Yourself in a Synthesizer Soundbath at the Vintage Synthesizer Museum

Relax, unwind, and let yourself be enveloped by the soothing harmony of over 40 synthesizers droning and arpeggiating in beautiful harmony. Bring a pillow (or two!) and settle in on the floor for an immersive auditory experience designed to calm your mind and elevate your spirit.

Feel free to arrive or depart anytime during the session. Admission is just $15.

This special synthesizer soundbath will be composed and executed by Alex Pelly.

Alex Pelly is a video and sound artist who has been deeply rooted in the Los Angeles music and art scene for most of her life, though she is originally from Canada. She came up through the dublab community, where she has hosted her monthly audio-visual radio show, PELLYVISION, since 2016.

Pelly began creating her own sounds in 2020. Using audio and video synthesizers, she has since performed and recorded compositions and improvisations, combining sonic and optic mediums. In addition to numerous solo appearances under her own name, she has also performed as Split Static, a duo with Elaine Carey, and OX, a duo with Co, an experimental guitar player. OX released “Jupiter”, an audio-visual EP, on Simballrec in 2022.

This soundbath is for adults 18+ who are looking to relax, meditate, reflect, and listen in a serene, quiet atmosphere. While this is a wonderful opportunity to experience the magic of the Vintage Synthesizer Museum, it is not a hands-on event. If you’d like to play or record with our synthesizers, we’d love to host you during our regular hours—book an appointment to explore! As we’ll be sharing the space in close proximity, we kindly ask that guests arrive scent-free (no perfumes, colognes, or strong fragrances).
